News | Three-day Concert Marathon Ends Successfully, Sends Regards to Japanese

Korean idol group Super Junior held a three-day concert marathon in Taiwan. Besides ‘killing’ a lot of fans, they also were touched by their fans ELF, and despite injuries continued with their performances. On the second day, they also expressed their concern for Japan. Siwon and Leeteuk also mentioned that for the Taiwan show a lot of Japanese fans attended, and that they hoped the concert would bring strength to everyone.

With the successful closure of these three concerts, SJ will leave Taiwan on two separate flights on the 14th. At 8.10am, one group will leave on flight CI160. The second group will leave at noon on flight KE692.

Super Junior member Kim Heechul and KARA member Kang Jiyoung became “Secret Garden”‘s main characters OSKA and Ji La Lin (unsure how to translate, so it’s romanized).

On 21 December, Kim Heechul updated  his Twitter with a photo of himself and KARA member Kang Jiyoung. In the photo, Kim Heechul had a cold expression and put his hand on his waist, giving off the “Korean idol” image. On the other hand, Kang Jiyoung was wearing normal clothes, and was smiling happily, just like a fan who had met her idol.
Netizens left comments such as “They look like ‘Secret Garden”s OSKA and Ji La Lin”, “No wonder it’s Kim Heechul, upon seeing KARA, still can have no facial expression” etc, the response was great.

Super Junior member Leeteuk revealed that Eunhyuk’s first kiss was in primary school.

On the episode to be aired on December 22 of ‘Super Junior’s Foresight’ Christmas Special, ‘Live King’ Lee Seunghwan (not sure) was invited.

Explaining Lee Seunghwan’s hits, Leeteuk said: “In the song ‘Only’, the sadness and hurt, attracted a lot of attention.” He expressed, “When I was in Year 3, when I remembered my first love I’d listen to Lee Seunghwan’s songs. At that time, through that girl I learnt more about the meaning of true love.”

Towards this, Eunhyuk interrupted, “Your true love was too early?” Leeteuk then revealed, “Wasn’t your first kiss in primary school?”, causing everyone to laugh.

As a big group in Korea, in the five years since SJ’s debut, with four albums and three major Asia tours that have earned them a great following of ELFs, SJ has earned “great results”.
